Welcome to the FAQs Wiki
This Frequently Asked Questions Wiki has been compiled mainly from the answers to questions posed by members in IPSNET. Thus it draws on the combined experience and knowledge of a broad range of broadcast sound practitioners.
There is information from basic Ohm's Law electronics through to a grounding in acoustics, along with a glossary of abbreviations and acronyms used in broadcasting.
The IPS FAQ Wiki is quite separate from the IPS Audio Compendium, which is more general and historical in character.
