Hybrid Transformer

A Hybrid Transformer is a specially wound Transformer with two equal secondary windings which provide two independent and equal outputs with no interaction between them. Such devices are used in audio mixers to provide isolated feeds for sending to Artificial Echo devices or PA systems, and also to interface between 2-wire and 4-wire systems e.g. for broadcasting telephone conversations.
