A panel of concerned experts invite comment and reflection on the value of the skills, reputations, successful products and experience that UK sound industries and their specialist practitioners have to offer – and how fragile is their future?

The subjects and issues could include hearing protection, the perils of self-employment, the tyranny and opportunity of technological convergence; Does the democratisation of skills dilute standards? How can the 'do-ers' voice be heard? What could a Confederation of Professional Audio Practitioners Associations achieve?
