GETTING THERE
Either:
Arrive in your own car at the Bunker at 11:00.
Being secret, the bunker obviously has no address(!) - but can be found near CM15 0LA. Signposted entrance on A128 just North of Kelvedon Hatch.
see: www.secretnuclearbunker.com/find.html

Or
Arrive at Epping Tube Station by 10:30 to be taken by minibus to the bunker, arriving 11:00 (NB there will be a cash charge for this and places must be reserved prior to the event - details below)
Epping Tube Station is the Eastern terminus of the Central Line, is 46 minutes from Oxford Circus, with a train every 10 minutes.

ON ARRIVAL
As you enter the bungalow in the forest, collect an audio ‘wand’, descend the staircase then follow the 100 yard tunnel through the 1.5 tonne blast doors to enjoy a self-directed tour of the three floors of the bunker.
When you reach the BBC Radio facilities, Ex-BBC Studio Manager Robin Cherry will be on hand to answer questions about the installation and his ongoing voluntary work to eventually restore it to working condition.

Lunch: 13:00. Will be served in what was originally the Ladies’ Dormitory, adjacent to the Canteen on the upper level. Make your way there to arrive at 13:00 to be served a three course lunch of:
Soup & a Roll, Cottage Pie with seasonal vegetables, Apple Pie & Ice Cream
Vegetarian options will be available for people who request this at the time of booking. Alcoholic drinks will be available from a cash bar.

After Lunch: At 14:30, celebrated authority on underground Cold War installations Steve Fox will present an illustrated talk on “Burlington” - the equally secret 36 acre underground city beneath Corsham in Wiltshire.
see: www.bbc.co.uk/wiltshire/underground_city/

At 1600, the optional minibus will leave to return people to Epping Tube station by 16:30 for the Central Line back to London.
Trains to Oxford Circus leave every 10 minutes from 16:33
